I miss my locs a great deal! Having my hair braided after almost three years felt weird. Not unusual, but strange and I had to pop some pain meds because man! I couldn’t sleep on the first night. Then… Making a decision on the next hairdo is super tasking, ladies can relate. I can’t wait to have my strands back.
Anyway… How is the festive season coming along for you? Someone said every December day is Friday 😂. No? 2020 has been trying for most if not all of us, but we move regardless.
Let me give you a little back story before I get into our OOTD. If you follow me on social media then you’re probably familiar with what Meet and Create is all about. If not, well, here we go: Meet and Create is a platform that offers creatives and digital content creators within Eldoret Town a forum to showcase their talent and skill. This includes photographers, models, designers of both outfits and accessories, make up artists, bloggers and basically anyone in the digital content creation space. The best part is where all these people collaborate to create magic. We had the second edition this past Sunday and I really can’t wait to spam you with the fire content we cooked, on this blog and on my social media pages.
Let me start by saying that I own very few pieces of pleated skirts, mostly box pleated, but I’m totally in love with how Masterpiece Designs styled this look for Meet and Create. While the colors are totally laid back and near neutral, the ensemble is edgy and very elegant.
The best part yet is how occasion-versatile this look is, I mean, you could be rocking your pleated skirt to the office in the morning and still meet up with the girls later without appearing too formal.
Also, I’m getting pretty comfortable with white pumps. Who knew? 😂
